I often walk in the Glenridge Quarry Revitalization Site.  The site evolved from a busy limestone aggregate quarry to a recycling and landfill site when I was a child and finally back to a public-use nature and recreation area. When I walk here, I imagine the refuse beneath my feet as I look to the wildlife, ponds and flora that flourish here now. The success of this reclamation site is proof to me that nature always wins.
